Almuñécar is rapidly becoming an important centre for meetings of all types. 
The promising future of the town and its surroundings is complemented by sophisticated facilities that are currently being expanded to attract important congresses and conventions 
The theatre at the "Culture Centre", and numerous congress halls in the same building, provide facilities for both large and small meetings. It can accommodate up to 500 people and is equipped with a service for simultaneous translation into 5 languages, together with film-projection facilities, exhibition rooms, reading rooms, a library and audiovisual cabins. Other attractions of the congress centre include a sauna, gymnasium, satellite connection, cafeteria and bar
